Growing up in Mumbai, Diwali always held a quiet kind of magic. We didn’t follow the traditional rituals at home, but the city made sure we were always part of the celebration. There were twinkling lights on every building, that distinctive sweet smell in the air, and a joyful energy that pulled you in — whether you were lighting diyas or simply passing by.
Diwali has always felt familiar — even if it didn’t come with rituals we followed at home. That’s the charm of growing up in Mumbai. You’re surrounded by celebration, and before you know it, it becomes part of your own story too.
So when we set out to craft our Diwali hampers at Moi Doughssier, we weren’t just thinking about flavours or packaging. We were thinking about how to bottle up that feeling — of being included, of gifting generously, of sharing joy in a way that feels completely your own.
A Fresh Canvas, Created Just for the Festival
We began with a very intentional choice:Nothing in our Diwali Edit would be from our regular menu.
This wasn’t about dusting off bestsellers and adding marigold stickers. This was about building a brand-new festive menu from scratch — meant only for this season, and designed to delight.
We spent weeks in development — testing, tasting, and tweaking. Some recipes clicked right away; others went through several rounds of fine-tuning until they felt just right.
Every item was chosen not just for how it tasted, but for how it made us feel. And how we hoped it would make you feel.
The Flavours We Fell in Love With
This year’s edit is a thoughtful mix of sweet, savoury, crunchy, and indulgent — built to be shared, gifted, and celebrated:
Crunchy Almond Sticks — delicate and addictive.
Golden Cheese Straws — savoury, buttery, and flaky.
Palmiers — crisp-edged and caramelised just right.
Pistachio & Cranberry Biscotti — nutty, tart, and great with chai.
Herb & Cheese Crackers — a salty-savoury balance to the season’s sweetness.
And the Rochers and Barks — rich, elegant, and topped with toasted almonds, pistachios, rose petals, or cranberries.
Each one handcrafted, made in small batches, and curated only for Diwali.
Bespoke Gifting, One Box at a Time

We don’t do pre-packed hampers.Instead, we invite you to build your own.
From two items to seven, every hamper is tailored by you.You browse our Diwali Edit, choose the products you love or want to gift, and we wrap them up in our signature mint and deep green boxes, finished with a golden satin ribbon and a gentle Happy Diwali.
No plastic fluff. No filler items.Just clean, intentional curation — made meaningful by your selection.
A Diwali That Feels Like Mumbai
Everything about this collection — from the flavours to the format — is shaped by where we come from.
At Moi, we’re a team of different stories, faiths, and festivals. But what we share is a deep love for good food, beautiful design, and making people feel seen.
In Mumbai, we’ve grown up celebrating everything — with everyone. Eid lunches, Diwali sweets, Christmas plum cakes, Ganpati Modak — all part of the same street, the same building, the same shared table. These hampers are our way of honouring that spirit — not by replicating tradition, but by creating new ones through flavour, simplicity, and care.
